The 2014 Ram 1500 EcoDiesel is the ONLY half-ton pickup truck on the market to offer a diesel engine. This gives the
1500 a best-in-class fuel economy of 28 MPG and its more than impressive tow rating of 9,200 pounds and 420 lb.-ft. of torque.

Production of the diesel variant began in early February and pre-orders have been coming in at an alarming rate. Chrysler Group LLC has already received over 8,000 orders from dealers across the country.
