The 2014 Jeep Cherokee Online Configurator Gets Fans Excited
We at Alma Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram are patiently waiting for the arrival of the new 2014 Jeep Cherokeethis fall. To keep us informed and create a buzz around the much-anticipated vehicle, Chrysler released an online configurator where fans can build their dream Jeep Cherokee. You will find information about pricing and different trim levels. The new Jeep Cherokee will range from $23,990 for the base model, all the way up to around $40,000 for the fully-loaded Cherokee Trailhawk trim.
From the configurator, we found a description of each trim level with all the options. The base model is the Sport Trim, which comes with a standard nine-speed transmission. The transmission is combined with a 2.5-liter I-4 engine that produces 184-hp. Other standard features include a five-inch touchscreen and Bluetooth connectivity. If you prefer the 4WD model, you can upgrade for $2,000.
If you upgrade to the Latitude Trim, which starts at $25,490, your Jeep Cherokee will be equipped with LED lights, 17-inch alloy wheels, and a silver roof rack. There’s also an upgrade of $695 for an 8.4-inch touchscreen.
The Limited Trim will get you some luxury features such as heated leather seats, a larger touchscreen, and 18-inch wheels. This package starts at $28,990 with upgrades such as an optional premium package for $1595 and safety package for $2155 (adaptive cruise control, cross path detection, parking assist, etc.)
Finally, the Trailhawk Trim is meant for off-road enthusiasts. This trim level is equipped with skid-plates, off-road suspensions and optional V-6 for $1,495. Starting at $30,490, there are many optional packages that can bring the price up to $40,000.
